The developer of a large property formerly utilized as a commercial nursery wanted to explore the potential for entitling a portion of the master plan as an active adult neighborhood. The Galloway Group provided conceptual planning and residential product design with a Ranch character. The neighborhood design concept typically clustered homes into groups of six creating intimate, neighborly enclaves. A central recreation facility and secondary open space areas provided amenities geared for the active adult buyer. The site plan proposed 164 units with an overall density exceeding 7 units/acre.
